One of the founding principals of Beta Theta Pi is the concept of brotherhood. Since its inception in 1839 Beta has dedicated itself to the cultivation of lifelong fraternal bonds that far exceed friendship.

The men of Epsilon Lambda chapter are no different. We know that the ability to call another man “brother” is no simple matter. It is something that can only be accomplished through hard work, dedication, trust, and understanding. Beta Theta Pi teaches all of these. “When I first left for college I only had two brothers. After one semester in Beta, I had forty.”

The success of our chapter on campus, in the community, in the classroom, and in life has not been brought about by individual efforts and contributions. It is the direct result of each member’s fraternal drive toward the success of his brothers, and their drive towards his.

For more than 165 years the halls of our chapters have been filled with the cheer that only our dedication to brotherhood can bring. It is a tradition that we fully intend to continue.

“Once a Beta, Always a Beta, Everywhere a Beta.”

Yours in ~kai~
